Most software projects developed in Microsofts Access97 (the preferred platform).
DFA also develops software in Access 2000 and can develop in Access 2002 (the version that comes with OfficeXP), but does not support Access 2003. Because of the file format common to all versions of Access from 2000 on, projects can be developed for any version of Access for testing and deployment in the other versions. DFA is happy to deploy applications developed in Access97 for use in Access 2000 or Access 2002, and experience shows that this can be a very good solution, providing stability and speed for programmers and users alike. However, DFA also develops natively in newer versions of Access, but, in general, these versions slow down certain aspects of the development process.
